“Kindness is more than just a word, it’s taking action. Doesn’t have to take much but it does require you to do something!” ~ Scott Raitt

Scott’s response to “Kindness is…” sure inspired me! Check out my Youtube channel with Kindness Short Videos! I recently shot a coaster display at Grape Day Park. Look how kindness, nature & art come together: https://youtu.be/C2xE0Mwe26E?si=fZFNS7v_b9t0lna4
Fun fact about my hometown in Massachusetts: Harvey Ball, a commercial artist from Worcester, invented the smiley face in 1963 for State Mutual Life Assurance Company to boost employee morale. May 31st is National Smile Day, so let’s lift someone up in Challenge #19: Show Us Your Smiley! Share a picture of you or someone smiling and tell us about it. Is it a dog you’re petting, holding a baby cooing, presenting a gift to someone, or simply looking good for the camera? Nothing makes me smile like seeing kindness in action.
Share your experience for this challenge. Extra chance for your name in the drawing for telling us how it made you feel to be kind. As you share your experiences, it may inspire someone else to be kind. I will draw a name from all social media and email responses to win a dóTERRA Wild Orange essential oil, which is a bottle of sunshine! When we are kind to ourselves and have more energy, we are more apt to be kind to others. Join me as we start ripples around the country…and maybe even around the world!
Congratulations to Challenge #18: Good Deeds winner, Randy P. She spreads kindness everywhere she goes by giving dog food (cans with flip-top lids) to unhoused people. Randy wins a container of MetaPWR beadlets that help support metabolic health and function.
I just wanted to say that I had a moment of kindness with a woman at Rod McLeod Park. She was worried that playing ball against the memorial was disrespectful, but I reassured her that McLeod would want her to play at his park, as long as her heart was in the right place.
We conversed briefly and laughed. She later said it helped her and I realized how she was kind to me as well. Suffice it to say that a smile and kindness can create surprising moments of connection.
What a beautiful example of kindness – connection! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for submitting your smiley to my email!
